TV cabinet & heater redistribution to Mr Lam, the single low income man living in Ngau Tau Kok public housing estate today!

Since Dec 12, 2014, we’ve been furnishing his newly allotted unit with bed & mattress, washing machine, fridge, chest of drawers, dining set and TV. After seeing the picture taken by Charlie after helping him tune the TV, then I thought – a TV cabinet would be nice for him.

Thanks to Katherine from DB for the TV cabinet!

Thanks to Faith from DB for the second cherries – an oil heater!

Now I think he has got pretty much of the basic furniture and appliances needed for a warm sweet home.

SPECIAL THANKS TO GINNY FOR FULLY SPONSORED THE TRANSPORT EXPENSE OF TODAY! The truck she sponsored also went to pick up a bed, pillows, beddings and a heater from TC for the newly-wed refugee couple Arif & Devi in Ping Che today. More pictures will be ready for sharing soon.

Last but not least, thanks to my all-time devoted volunteer Fred again for all the lifting & moving to help us save paying for labour cost and show our love and care from DB to Ngau Tau Kok and all the way to Ping Che too.

The lucky ones of the less privileged ones got shelters (a proper govt housing unit), less lucky ones got shacks, some are homeless… They remind us every day – we are the fortunate lucky ones, to have a proper home in DB/TC.

We do not have to consider its our responsibility to take care of the less fortunate ones in our community, but how about just to donate anything of yours that is no longer in use? Surely even less than a-hundred-dollar-worth items from your generosity could make a huge difference in lives among the less privileged. And we are proud to serve!

Therefore, should you have any unwanted furniture, electronic appliances, household items, toys, clothes, books etc,
kindly join our Facebook group ‘DB Mothers & Friends’ and pm me
-the pictures of your donation,
-collection address, and
-your contact number.
I shall arrange the collection appointment promptly. First Come First Served.

May our unwanted items be the treasure of the less fortunate in HK and the rest of the world and bring smiles in their hardship in lives.

Regards,
Nikki
